Douglas L. White has joined the UMass Donahue Institute as the director of Organizational Development and Training (ODT). He will work to strengthen existing state-agency business and seek new opportunities with corporate clients and the federal government. He holds degrees from UMass Lowell and Southern Illinois University and has extensive experience in the corporate sector.

Leslie Ackles, former director of ODT, is the new director of the UMass I-495 Center for Professional Education in Westborough. The center provides high quality accessible, professional credit and non-credit programs to citizens, corporations, government, and nonprofit organizations. Leslie's work in Westborough will include involvement with UMass Online, one of the country's most successful distance-learning providers.
